A new character just created to show you archer basic movements. Its still low level, but you can see charged and lock-on attacks, there are more diferent charged attacks and some evasive moves later on. @TheGodTier the game is out already in Korea. it will be released in America sometime next year between Q1-Q2. By dead and old I meant Physic wise so that was poor detailing on my part. I do not mean that from a population aspect.

@TheGodTier I think its more situational. 1v1 auto target is face roll easy. 1vs numerous people manual aim will benefit as you don’t have to hassle to click the guy before he kills you. Auto aim you have to click through or toggle(can be dead gay sometimes). Also, though it’s not on the exact same terms UT was a shooter but you could take swords out at anytime. This game is old and dead, but look at some Risk your life videos. I loved the game which is why i want to play TERA.

@Texarmageddon I doubt it. Don’t get me wrong it might be pretty easy to pick up, but it won’t be easier than auto targeting roll dice system MMOs have been using since Everquest days.

@Texarmageddon Still wrong sorry bro, the archer is the only one that uses the FPS mechanics. If they took out Archers and MMORPG system, and left it with berserkers and slayers it would probably be hack and slash.

@TheGodTier O my bad. I meant T(third)PS.. Srry this concept isn’t new. It’s old. You aim where you want to swing or shoot. Unreal tournament had guns and melee weapons, but that didn’t make it any less of a TPS or shooting in general. The only thing that constitutes this as an MMORPG is the ability to roam around and do quest. Take the dungeons and quest away and it would get labeled a shooter real quick.

@TheGodTier O and to finish my rant on your stupidity and how easily the masses are persuaded.. THIS SYSTEM IS SQUAT OLD. RYL has used the same system for almost 10 years now. PSU probably used the early stages of it. Hell, even darkfall has used it.

@TheGodTier OMG… seriously? I don’t understand you retired WoW Vets. You’re bitching about EZ mode and how casual WoW is, but you honestly think making this like an FPS is going to make it harder? Hello, FPS will give you the quickest learning curve in any game. All you’re gonna do is learn quickest CD spells and spam them just like WoW. I can’t stand PvE crybabies. hmmm, i’ve seen vids of Sorcerers and Archers but still cant choose, i want to be a ranged damage dealer, no elementalist or priest but sorc or arch, but it all looks so cool

@Lethalanvas It does actually, tbh grinding is fun till you reach the part where you get like 1% per hour of grinding (From other games). Games like this are not grindy anymore unlike before so you’ll probably enjoy this.

@TheGodTier So ive heard from the older players, they say now everything is easy and there is no challenge. I made some mistake here though, wonder why i never seen any Rifts here. Damn i got mixed up, actually my hopes are pretty high to Rift: planes of telara. Check it out. Its not action mmo, but the common type.

@PulsarSZ It’s famous now, because it appeals to casual gamers who can learn to play the game in a few days, before they were famous for appealing to gamers and trying to give them what they want, afterall it was a new game, they needed to make a reputation for their game somehow, now it’s just terrible shit.

@PulsarSZ No doubt, D&D started the RPG movement, but, you have to consider that this is low level gameplay, if you look at the bosses, melee classes get hurt alot, sure ranged might not so much but they’re ranged, they’re not as near the mobs. The gameplay mechanics of Monster Hunter and Tera are similar they’re both a type of action aiming style. The same way how a Greatsword user in MH aims their attacks so does a Slayer or Berserker in Tera, especially with the charge up attacks.
