I have played this game since Open Beta. It was fun for about 3 days, then it got worse. They did early entry and the bugs piled in. They did launch day and more bugs than you can whack a stick at are here and it gets worse each day. GM’s are in the game (sometimes). Why? Because of a major bug where you toon gets stuck and only THEY can teleport you out. Most you hear is submit a /bug report. I have sent in several. Lost items. (not returned) Broken quest items. (still broken to this day) Lost quest advancement and AP’s and XP’s. (Still broken) Random crashes.(almost daily) Told to be patient this is a new game. It’s been out for over a year. (Closed Beta, Open beta, Early Entry and now Paying Live time) Same bugs same lies. Save yourself the headache and money. Don’t bother with this game.

Buyer Beware this game is a joke, I’ve played mmo’s for years , UO,Everquest,Daoc,Wow,Anarcy online,Star wars and many others. Fallen Earth is graphically a disgrace, the toons remind me of the toons in a Tony Hawk game cube game my daughter has. This game is 95% crafting and it’s laborous and yields very little. If it’s the gunplay that attracts you bare in mind you’ll be crafting every bullet and gun. Combat consist of hitting your tab button and banging away at your mouse buttons (boring) and every mouse click costs you a bullet you spent time farming components to make plus real time crafting clocks. I blew 50 bucks on this lousy game, and am doing this review so some of you won’t waste your money. A previous reviewer likened this game to going to work and I whole-heartedly agree. It’s work and it’s a drag, I didn’t even get into mounts and what a poorly thought out idea they are. A game this poor is difficult to review because there are too many shortcommings to list. Buyer Beware!!!

This game is the worst game I ever paid for. two months passed, and I realized nothing would help this game get any better.
I thought this was going to be a killer PVP game but turned out to be a middle finger.
The gameplay is so infuriating, they call it a challenging game, but in reality the npc’s just cheat; spawn behind you, beside you 50 meters away from you, especially if your melee (and this is supposed to be real, give me a break…)
online players are not helpful, its just that the game never gives incentives for group dynamics which is directly affecting this. even if the group was created, there is no group content worthwhile
online players are capable of doing everything themselves defeating the very existance of playing online.

Seems like a no-brainer: a Fallout 3-like MMORPG. Turns out, this game is not ready for public consumption. Think Age of Conan when it was released. Give it about 6 months and it may be worthy of your attention, but right now there are too many things wrong.
Case in point: the first time I played, the quest system lagged by 5 minutes, meaning that my run through the tutorial felt a lot like I was playing Dungeon Lords (before their “Collector’s Edition”).
Many people in the game complain about performance (both due to low-end graphics and due to lag). My gaming rig (which my x64 Vista machine scores a 5.9 on the Performance Index) plays this game just fine at 1680×1050, so if you have a high end machine, you probably won’t find the performance the reason you don’t play.
Instead, the problem is with just about everything else: there’s no manual, so the newbie channel is full of very simple questions like “how do I see what skills I have?” They don’t give new players anyway to get a feel for how to build a successful character. They don’t lead characters through early development and world exploration in the same way that LOTRO (Lord Of The Rings Online) does. (In my mind LOTRO was a great MMORPG launch – yes there were some issues at first, but it didn’t stop players from having fun). Unfortunately, Fallen Earth is no LOTRO. They have a long way to go.
Is it fun? It is to some (I do see some people having fun in the game), but most people I’ve seen or talk to in the game feel overwhelmed and frustrated by bugs and inconsistencies. Seeing what a successful MMORPG can be like (I’ve played WoW, UO, Eve, LOTRO, and DaoC), I can tell you that if you are an MMORPG fan, you will be frustrated at all the things that those other games have that this one does not (another example: the in-game overview map is so small that it’s basically useless – not the overhead map, but the regional map. LOTRO gives you a nice interactive full-screen world map with which you can see your relative position, but the in-game map in FE is basically useless).
My recommendation: give this game some time (as in, a few months). If it can weather the early problems, retain players, and fix the issues, it could be a lot of fun. But for now, stick with WoW, Eve, LOTRO, or whatever MMORPG you’re playing.

It may not seem like much but 95% crafted items is true to the post apocalyptic setting and really changes how one plays and gets involved in the entire game.
